Challenge

Chris Myhren approached me with the exciting task of branding his wedding cinematography business, Eidetic Films. He focuses on producing one of a kind videos that capture the full story of the wedding day. The challenge is creating a logo that reflects the high quality production value and stands out in the crowded market of wedding services. 

Solution

 

The final identity design establishes Eidetic films as luxury brand in the wedding service industry. The overlapping lines create a look that resembles a stained glass window from a church. Hidden within the mark is the letters "E" and "F" that could be discovered on a second or third look. I always enjoy creating marks that have multiple levels to them that encourage the customer to take a second look.
